Usually, this classic Chinese dish is swimming in inflammatory oils, artificial flavourings and a carb content that would leave you clutching your bloated belly.

But, you can bring your favourite takeaway dish to your home and use it as a staple Friday night dinner that you can whip up in less than 15 minutes. High in protein, and combining the right type & amount of carb, this dish is perfect for anyone who is looking to lose a bit of body fat, put on muscle mass or just be healthy.

This dish recommends using wholewheat noodles, but you can substitute this for wholegrain rice noodles as well. The brands that I would recommend are Blue Dragon (if using wholewheat) and MAMA wholegrain rice noodles. Enjoy.
